Love and Respect: The Pillars of Lasting Relationships

Love and respect go hand in hand

One without the other cannot stand

If you think you can love without respecting the other,

Then my friend, I would beg to differ.

For a few days, months or years, the connection may go on.

But ultimately the seeds of despair you've sown,

Will blossom and show you the mirror

That you'll not like, and the love will wither.

In a way that you'll never get it back,

No matter you try which hack.

Still getting defensive, covering up, making stories?

If nothing else, atleast accept it and be sorry.

The least you can do is to acknowledge the wrong,

The least is to agree that your love is not so strong.

You cannot differentiate from the wrong to right

Because you're blinded by your prejudiced sight.

You make your own choices in life

If you cannot give respect, then love can never survive.
