Where have the happy times gone?
Why are we now away, apart and alone?
Were the bonds so weak to be swept away?
Slaughtered and butchered, now they lay.
I used to believe love binds us all .
Now I doubt whether it exists at all.
Doesn't years of togetherness matter?
Why, now, dreams have to shatter?
From where did the wall build up in the mind?
Because of which we are stepping behind?
Thanks to our ego & greed for personal gains.
Nothing will ever be the same again.
